On May 25, 2020, George Floyd was killed during an arrest by the Minneapolis police.

One of four police officers knelt on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, ignoring his words of “I Can’t Breathe” which inspired a public outcry in weeks and months to come.

This is just one of many examples of police brutality in the United States.
